Tardy Policies
i know that highschools have this tardy policy that is kind of based upon the discipline ladder that we all learned about in middle school, which determines the punishments for subsequent tardies, what do you all think about this policy, is it enforced by all the teachers or just the administration, do you think it is fair? I just want to know your opinion

Making it ON TIME
At my school it is very much inforced by both the Administration and Teachers alike. I think it's fair b/c IT WORKS. Their main reason for "The Ladder" is to get the students to class ON TIME. By having increasing disciplinary punishments, the students would try harder to make it to class. Again,......
 IT WORKS.
Tardy Policies
I don't think it should be pushed too far though
I was late four times
(my mom's slow in the mornings sometimes)
I had gotten two lunch detentions, and was threatened with a referal
I was furious
And I'm not even one of the people who linger around, I go straight to class!
Tardy Policies
im in middle school but still i think mrs.bragdon has "streesed" the "policy" to much
U MUSENT BE TARDY
i mean omg i think they make us worried to much also i think the whole "referle" just cuz of tardyness is rediculios.
Tardy Policies
I think they are way too strict. Students just end up missing huge amounts of class, when they are 10 seconds late.
the tardy policy between classes is particularly terrible. I'm afraid to go to the bathroom between classes. If i get back any time after the bell, i have to go all the way down to the office, wait in line for a pass, then go all the way back to class. It is really inefficient.
Tardy Policies
I don't go either between classes, and I carry my stuff around (ALL of it) so I don't have to worry about being late
luckly, only 2 of my teachers stress being late to a harsh point
